What is a digital fingerprint?
A digital fingerprint (SHA-512 hash) is a unique cryptographic signature generated from a file's content.
Like a human fingerprint, it uniquely identifies a document. Any modification produces a completely different fingerprint.
The SHA-512 algorithm generates a 128-character hexadecimal fingerprint.
Any change to the file, however small, produces a different fingerprint, making it a reliable reference for future verification.
